Firefighters from Pageland, High Point Fire, and SandHill Fire Departments responded to a report of a house fire on Watford Street in Pageland. First arriving responders found a single story wood frame home heavily involved in fire. Firefighters dressed in hot heavy protective gear, breathing air from the tanks on their backs and dragging a heavy hose line entered the burning home and began attacking the fire.

On Friday February 5th a Sam Carnes Rd. resident outside of Pageland SC was summoned to his door by a neighbor who appeared to be injured. Thinking the man had been assaulted 911 was called. At 5:55 pm the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Department along with Pageland Rescue and First Health EMS were dispatched to the scene. Several minutes later it became apparent that the man had not been assaulted but was seriously burned and that his house was on fire.

Responders from Pageland Rescue, Jefferson Rescue, High Point Fire District, Pageland Fire Department and First Health EMS responded to a report of a head on vehicle crash on South Arant Street Saturday afternoon. First arriving responders faced an angry crowd of bystanders that tried to prevent them from reaching one of the vehicles.

t 1:35 PM on November 29, 2014, High Point Fire District Responded to a report of a grass and structure fire at 409 Sale Barn Lane near Pageland SC. Firefighters arrived to find an unoccupied single wide mobile home being used for storage with heavy fire showing from its center. There was also approximately half an acre of burning grass and brush with fire moving toward a second mobile home and a shop building.

At 6:45 AM on Friday November 28, 2014 High Point Fire District responded with four engines, a tanker, and a ladder truck to a report of a structure fire at 398 Hazel Blakeney RD. While responding, Chief Wendell Johnson observed a large column of smoke and requested an additional engine and personnel from the Pageland Fire Department.
