At 7:23 PM, Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 Pageland Rescue Squad, High Point Fire District, and First Health EMS responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Highway 601 North near the state line. Responders arrived to find what appeared to be a single vehicle roll over crash with the car resting on its side. The car’s two occupants, who were out of the car when responders arrived, were treated on scene by First Health EMS and transported to CMC-Union in Monroe NC with non-life threatening injuries. The crash is being investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
