On Thursday, September 19th, firefighters from High Point Fire District responded to a report of a grass fire on Boyd Evans Rd. near Pageland SC. Firefighters arrived to find a small grass fire burning on the roadside and were able to quickly bring it under control.

At 9:18 PM on August 10, 2013 High Point Fire District responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Mangum School Road across from Greens Auction Barn.

On June 14, 2013 High Point Fire District volunteers responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Airport Rd. near Pageland SC. Firefighters arrived for find a pickup truck behind a home with fire showing from under the hood and extending to the cab.

Monday, May 27, 2013 at 12:02 pm volunteers with High Point Fire District responded to a report of a woods fire endangering structures. Firefighters arrived to find one fourth of an acre of woods burning next to a mobile home.

On April 19th numerous volunteer and county agencies as well as private business came together to present a vehicle crash drama for the junior and senior students at Central High School in Pageland. The drama, set up by the Pageland Rescue Squad, was meant to portray the dangers of drinking and driving, texting and driving, and the importance of wearing seat belts.
