On January 27, 2014 at 3:20 PM High Point Fire District responded with an engine and three brush trucks to a report of a brush fire on Duncan Road near Pageland. The engine and a brush truck were the first to arrive and found a small brush fire had ignited a barn. The barn was fully engulfed in flames and endangering a motor home.

At 8:07 PM, Thursday, January 9th, volunteers from High Point Fire District responded to a report of a structure fire on Guess Rd. near Thompson Creek Rd. Firefighters arrived to find a single story wood frame residence with no smoke or flames visible. The home owner reported that a couch had ignited when a lamp fell between the couch and wall

At 09:57 AM on Sunday, December 15, 2013 High Point Fire District responded with three engines and a tanker to a report of a structure fire at 28380 Highway 9. Firefighters arrived to find a single wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames and collapsing. The mobile home was in the process of being demolished when workers accidentally ignited the fire with a cutting torch.

At 11:22 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2013 High Point Fire Districted responded with two engines, a tanker and a ladder truck to a report of a mobile home fire on Boyd Evans Rd. First arriving firefighters found a single wide mobile home with fire blowing out the gable end and bedroom windows, endangering another home.

At approximately 08:20 AM, Sunday December 1st firefighters from Sandhill Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at the old Angelus School building on Macedonia Angelus Rd. Upon receiving the alarm Sandhill Assistant Chief Jody Capps immediately requested assistance from High Point Fire District and Buffalo Mt. Pisgah Fire Department.
