Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 5:15 PM volunteers from the High Point Fire District responded to a report of a brush fire on Coon Creek Rd. First arriving responders found approximately half an acre of brush and woods burning near several mobile homes. Using a brush truck and tanker fire fighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control. No structures were damaged. The fire appears to have been caused by the unattended burning of household garbage.
